1. What Penso is
Penso is a mobile service that lets you send a contact a "thought": a silent signal, with no text or content. By using the app you accept these terms.
2. Account
You create an account by entering your email and verifying it with a code we send you. You're responsible for keeping access to your inbox.
3. Minimum age
To use Penso you must be at least 14 (16 in some jurisdictions). If you're a minor, make sure you have consent from whoever holds parental responsibility.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Penso to harass, stalk, or send repeated unwanted thoughts. There is a daily per-contact limit and the ability to block anyone. A block stays in effect until you remove it.
5. Privacy
Your email is used for sign-in. Address-book contacts, if you share them, are encrypted client-side. Thoughts contain no text or media. For details see the Privacy Policy.
6. Content
Penso carries no text, images, audio or video. There is therefore no user-generated content to moderate: the only "message" is the gesture itself.
7. Availability
Penso is offered "as is". Temporary service interruptions may occur for maintenance or technical reasons. We do our best to ensure continuity but cannot guarantee it 100%.
8. Suspension
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, in particular in cases of harassment or abuse toward other users.
9. Service changes
We may update the app, change features, or discontinue the service. We'll let you know of material changes.
